Teenagers Ban to Go to Nightclub Being Discussed

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to prepare a ban that prohibits teenagers under the age of 19 years old go to nightclubs or discotheque, as well as drink liquor. Later on, the ban would be issued in form of gubernatorial regulation.

I'll make proposal to Mr. Governor to issue the gubernatorial regulation. This is for teenagers under 19 years old to consume liquor and go to nightclub

"I'll make proposal to Mr. Governor to issue the gubernatorial regulation. This is for teenagers under 19 years old to consume liquor and go to nightclub. We will discuss it soon whether it is allowing or not," expressed Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, at City Hall, Tuesday (10/11).

Through the ban, it is hoped able to suppress the ruin of the young generation.

Closure Letter for Discotheque Miles Issued

When being confirmed about drugs case in Discotheque Mile's, Djarot agrees to close down the site. Because, according to the rules, every nightclub that involved in drugs case twice, will be closed down.

"Not only Mile's, it also applies to all. We must fight against drugs," he finished.
